Why I Use GoodNotes

GoodNotes 5 is one of the top-rated free apps for digital planning and for good reason! It is simple to navigate the extensive features that make personalizing your planner easy. One of the best features enables your handwriting to be turned into any of their fonts. No more worrying about your handwriting! Perfect for achieving that clean look.

Setting Up GoodNotes 5

To get started you need to download the free GoodNotes 5 from your App Store. Once you've done this it's time to set up your digital planner! Start by importing a planner template of your choosing. There are so many options out there, but my Ultimate Life Planner is perfect when you are just getting started because it is simple, hyperlinked for easy navigation, and includes all of the essentials. Additional packs for the Ultimate Life Planner are coming soon to fit your more unique planning needs. Subscribe to my email list to stay updated.

Exploring Key Features

GoodNotes 5 offers a plethora of features that enhance your digital planning experience. Take advantage of the following features to optimize your planning process:

Hyperlinks and Navigation With GoodNotes 5, you can use links to jump between pages and sections within your planner. It is important to know that hyperlinks can only be used when you are in read mode only, not editing mode.

Handwriting and Annotation As I mentioned above, GoodNotes 5 supports handwriting to font conversion, but only when used with a Bluetooth stylus. My favorite Bluetooth stylus can be picked up on Amazon for a super affordable price . Use this or a similar stylus to write, highlight, underline, or draw on your planner effortlessly!

Enhancing Your Planner with Stickers

With your planner chosen you should consider using stickers in your digital planner too! I offer a pack of over 200 Essential Pastel Digital Stickers that can really jazz up your planner.

Organizing and Managing Your Planner

Don’t limit yourself to just one planner or journal. With the free GoodNotes app you can create a limited number of different notebooks for various areas of your life, such as work, personal, fitness, or hobbies. I even have a coloring book in there to help me destress when I need it the most. For a small one time fee you can upgrade the app to allow for an unlimited amount of different notebooks.

Congratulations! With this knowledge you are now well-equipped to start your digital planning journey with GoodNotes. I hope you find it just as enjoyable as I do. It really combines the best of paper planning and the convenience of technology. Please, consider subscribing with the button below for more tips and tricks with digital planning!
